Angels come in many different forms, but in my world, angels have best come to me in small doggie form. This was really realized when this little Harry Bear Boy came into my life, our lives, Christmas a year ago. (At this time I knew that my little Dudley wouldn’t be with us too much longer).

Long hair standard size, male, black and tan dachshund weighs in now at 22-23 lbs. WOW! What a Big Boy, Indeed. He’s sweet and his wings show on the opposite end. I immediately noticed that he was an angel dog when I saw his hind quarters.
He was sold to me by a breeder in South Carolina that I found on Facebook, as a miniature size dachshund. She sent me pictures of 2 cream colored, long hair parents, weighing about 11 lbs each. I never expected him to be so big and heavy. I made the mistake of not going directly to this breeders home to see where the puppies and parents resided and of absolutely trusting a breeder without doing my research. Though this was a first for me, not inspecting the breeder’s home, the mom and daddy dog’s domain. I’d always had good luck with this in the past.
Though I love this angel boy, dearly, it’s tough for me to pick him up and love on him as I normally would. Apparently the longhaired dachshund breed goes limp like a noodle when you go to pick him up, making him twice as heavy.
He is a very docile and very sweet, fairly calm, pudgy, boy…and he is MY Little ANGEL!
