My Little Man is Hanging in there thought it’s been tough and quite debilitating. He will stand every now and then but walking is out of the question. When he eats, about a third of his food falls from his mouth, so I have begun to spoon feed him. He will no longer eat his pain pills mixed within his food. It’s as if all of a sudden now, he can taste his medication, and it’s quite a mess when he spits out the pills.
Dachshunds are usually overeaters and are known to eat just about anything. He is basically getting what ever he wants, within reason (maybe), these days, but he certainly deserves it after raising several little girl dogs and being such a good baby for me.
Dudley has been one of the brightest lights of my life. We are just trying to enjoy the days, one by one, one at a time, these days, until he’s ready to go and be with God and his loving baby doggie sisters.
Cheers to Dudley, My Little Man. Perfect little Boy. I love you!
