This is my “Little man”, Dudley, a little over 5 years ago, before he got hurt. He’s just a handsome little boy and he still gets compliments like that today, even in his old age, grey hair and his condition.
Dudley has always been a well behaved, man of the house, daddy dog. I can’t remember, even when he was a puppy, that he wasn’t well behaved.
I do remember the first time he tinkled on his puppy pads. He literally laid down on his belly and peepeed.
I remember when he was still just a baby, one Sunday morning, when laid out on his side, on the floor at the kitchen doorway and looked like he’d just died. We rushed him to the hospital and later found out he had a sensitive stomach. I can’t say that today. He’ll eat practically anything these days, like lot’s of dachshunds do.
So like humans, as he ages and his arthritis increases, effecting his ability to walk, I treat his like and carry him around like he’s a baby, because he is. Dachshunds are and always will be babies.
I love him dearly. He will forever be in my heart as all my babies are.
Please check out his website, the one I’ve told you all I’ve dedicated to Dudley and that he will forever live on with this store. Please follow, like and Share on Facebook, Instagram and any other social media connection you have. Thank you ALL!
